Seth has a wide range of academic and professional experience, much of it focused on international development and human rights issues. After receiving a BA from Williams College, where his honors thesis examined issues of multiculturalism and deliberative democracy, Seth worked for the late Howard Wolpe, former Presidential Envoy for the Great Lakes Region of Africa, conducting research on peace-building initiatives in Burundi. He conducted research for Stephen Lewis in his role as UN Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa and served as an interim Project Manager at the Stephen Lewis Foundation. In 2004, Seth was a Junior Professional Consultant with UNDP in Malawi, working on food security issues.
Seth also has an MA in political science from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Common Law and Bachelor of Civil Law from McGill University, where he received the Maxwell Cohen Award for highest academic achievement in public international law. Prior to joining AIDS-Free World, Seth was an associate attorney at the New York office of the global law firm Clifford Chance LLP.
