A New Leader for UN Women

UN Women's new leader, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, is a relatively unknown entity, though she was the Deputy President of South Africa during the years of AIDS denalism under President Thabo Mbeki. She inherits an agency with massive challenges. Michelle Bachelet left UN Women in a dreadful mess: they are virtually broke, and morale is at rock bottom.
